Candy Patties are made from pure sugar and supplements mixed what bees need in wintertime. As this product is for wintering bees, it mostly contains carbohydrates. Supplements are added to some extent. The patties are fed to honey bees during the winter months when bees are unable to find food and are short in food.

  FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
  Feed the bees in winter and early spring if they need it. Open the wrapper from three to four sides. Take the candy out carefully. You can use a small tray if the candy is broken upon opening.
  Open the hive; use a little smoke to make bees go away from the frames you want to put on. Put the candy on the frames where the bees are and close the hive. You might need a ship to give extra distance between the candy and the lid.
  Follow up in a week. If the bees have taken all, give them again.
  Feed the half if the bees' population covers less than 5 frames.
  
  Ingredients: Sugar, water, plant protein products, grain products, dried egg products, lecithin, dl-methionine, potassium chloride, choline chloride, natural flavoring, mixed tocopherols (preservative), d-alpha tocopheryl acetate, ascorbic acid.
  Contains no bee by-products.
